The easiest way for us to do this is via Createspace. We'll essentially be putting the whole novel up, NOT approving it for distribution (as clearly, we don't want the pre-final proof ARC going on sale) and then drop-shipping print copies to those that want them. eBook copies will of course be emailed (and preferable for us, given that it saves printing and postage on that ARC).
CS drop shipping is very handy for US deliveries as otherwise we'll end up playing trans-Atlantic ping pong with our ARCs, having them mailed to us then sending them back. Not very efficient, I'm sure you'll all agree.
It's also quicker. CS drop shipping is 3-4 days for the USA, a little longer for Canada (as they send it US surface mail then hand it over to Canadian Post), and as quick or better for the rest of the world.
Our UK ARCs will be via us simply to cut down on postage cost. 50 copies from CS to us, then onwards is cheaper than 50 x single copies from CS to ARC readers. It also means we can sign them, and or slip in DoD merchandise (who wants a DoD tea towel? No seriously, we have tea towels...).
Still time to sign up - just email, tweet or comment as usual.
Tomorrow, we've got our #SampleSunday post, this time from L K Jay who'll be sharing a bargain book with you. On Monday, we may have another guest post lined up in which case Dan will be back Tuesday with our usual inane posts.
Have a great weekend all!
